Farm Food Truck
The Farm Food Truck is now closed for the season!
We’ll be back for one day only in November, at our Holiday Market on Thursday November 21st.
At that time we’ll be serving up fresh-cut fries, milkshakes, and Smash Burgers. Everything on the menu is made-from-scratch and utilizes produce grown right here on our farm. Homemade burger buns, from-scratch fruit puree for the milkshakes, and beef from our own herd of Black Angus cows.
Please note that the griddle (for burgers) shuts down ~15 minutes before close due to a lengthy cleaning process
What to Expect for a Day on the Farm
We are a working farm, and the conditions may reflect that. This means you can expect to see tractors and other large equipment, uneven ground, mud, dust, and bugs.
Please come prepared with bug spray (especially on a day after rain!) and sunscreen.
Dress appropriately – closed toe shoes are recommended, and rainy days may even require your trusty rubber boots!
Hats and water are always a good idea.
Bring a camera! There will be lots of lovely moments to be captured.
We have plenty of green space for you to enjoy, so feel free to bring along a picnic blanket or lawn chairs if you’d like.
We do have some animals on site: cows & chickens. They are happy to say hello from a distance, but we ask that you please not touch them.
Our frozen yogurt machine typically shuts down approximately 30 minutes prior to closing, as it takes a long time to fully disassemble and clean. Thank you for your understanding!
Dog Policy
We love dogs, and we know you do too! They are as much a part of the family as anyone else. For the 2024 season, we have revised our pet policy to include the following:
Dogs must be people- and other dog-friendly. We have our own farm dogs who may be hanging around during your visit and other guests may have their dogs with them as well.
Dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times.
Please bring doggie bags and clean up after your 4-legged friends.
Dogs are welcome on the grassy area in front of our farm market, as well as on the forest walking trails and corn maze (during fall season).
Dogs are not permitted inside the farm market or in any of our fruit & vegetable fields.
This is for food safety and is very important!
If concerns arise, our staff reserve the right to ask you to leave with your pet.
Frequently Asked Questions
What can I pick?
Throughout the season we have strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and a variety of vegetables available for harvesting. In the fall, we also offer pumpkins for picking! Keep an eye on our Farm Market & PYO page for specific timing & crop details.
Please only pick what you plan on paying for. We really appreciate you helping us reduce food waste!
Can I bring my own containers to pick into?
You are more than welcome to bring your own containers to take produce home in, but harvest must be done using our containers. This means you will pick into our containers, and then have the option to either transfer into containers brought from home, or we can transfer into a bag for you. This policy ensures our checkout process is as efficient and food-safe as possible.
Is everything ready for picking when I visit?
Due to the nature of Ontario’s growing season, not all crops are ready at the same time. Please follow our staff guidelines for harvesting, as they will carefully instruct you on what is ready and available for harvest.
Do you have washrooms on site?
We have portable toilets on site available for your use. They aren’t the most glamorous, but they’ll get the job done!
The Farm Market also boasts several other carefully selected locally made products, including charcuterie meats, maple syrup, crackers, and cheese!
These items make the perfect addition to a charcuterie board, especially when paired with our preserves or Melon Blossom Honey. Because of this, we are thrilled to be a part of the Oxford County Cheese Trail. Learn more about this experience here!
