Food Truck Manager
Job Purpose:
We’re looking for a Food Truck Manager to run our farm’s food truck for the 2025 season (May - November), serving up fresh-cut fries, milkshakes, and smash burgers made from scratch using ingredients grown and raised right here on our farm. This role is perfect for someone creative, organized, and passionate about food, with a knack for leading a team and ensuring a great experience for customers.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the food truck, ensuring smooth service, quality control, and consistency
Prepare and serve a simple, high-quality menu with a focus on efficiency and presentation
Train, supervise, and support food truck staff to create a positive and productive work environment
Foster a friendly, engaging atmosphere and ensure high-quality service
Maintain cleanliness and adhere to all food safety regulations
Track daily sales, adjust strategies as needed, and collaborate on promotions or specials
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in food service, food trucks, or restaurants preferred
A passion for local farming, farm-to-table food and produce is a strong advantage
Proven leadership and communication skills with experience managing a small team effectively
Ability to problem-solve on the go in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of food safety protocols and best practices - FoodSafe Certification is required
A self-starter who is organized, adaptable, and customer-focused
